Mr. Chris Schoettle
President and COO, Enservio
Chris Schoettle is President & Chief Operating Officer at Enservio, where he is responsible for sales, service operations, engineering, product management and product marketing. Chris joined the Enservio leadership team in 2012 to add his expertise in scaling the rapidly growing business as the global information services and SaaS platform leader for property insurance.
Prior to Enservio, Chris was an executive vice president for a decade at Akamai, where he led the cloud-based products and services, the global technology platform, company operations, and multiple acquisitions/integrations. During this period, Akamai grew annual revenue from $160 million to $1 billion and generated $1.2 billion in cash from operations.
Previously, Chris was president of broadband access at Lucent, running the business unit P&L with $600 million revenue and 700 employees worldwide. Chris has also held general management positions at AT&T, Novell, and Unix Systems Laboratories, including expatriate roles in Europe and Asia Pacific. He began his career as a programmer at NCR. Chris holds an M.S. and B.S. in mathematics and computer sceince from Emory University and was a Bobby Jones scholar at the University of St. Andrews. He serves on the board of trustees for the Mass Technology Leadership Council.
