Dr. Daniell has a broad entrepreneurial background having lead start-ups, ran divisions of large companies, and worked with both venture funds and angel investment groups.  Prior to joining Oxfam, Jim was the CEO/President of several technology firms ranging from semiconductor based fuel cells, loyalty marketing programs, supply chain management, and distributed order management for direct marketers.  He was formerly an executive at AT&T where he oversaw global business development, strategy for the then $18B business telecommunications division, and operations for the e-commerce and web-hosting business unit.  He was also a co-founder of CommonAngels, Boston's most prominent angel investment group, and served as a board member for his angel investments in areas such as geonomic information systems, e-commerce companies, computer systems design, and complex scheduling systems.
