Overview

The Council’s “CEO Roundtable” Cluster is targeted to Founders, Presidents, CEOs and Chairs of technology companies with annual revenues over $2 Million. (Members executives whose company has less than $2M in revenue may be interested in our Conversations for Start-Ups Cluster.) Meetings generally begin with a brief presentation by a group member or occasionally an outside speaker and then followed with a high level sharing of experiences, strategies, and general information surrounding the topic.

Members of the CEO Roundtable meet regularly to discuss business management issues under the leadership of Council Trustee, David Blohm, former CEO of SmarterKids.com and MathSoft. Participation in this group is limited to Chairs, CEOs, Presidents, and Founders of member companies with annual revenues over $2 million. There is an enrollment fee of $250 that allows participants to attend 6 discussions during the calendar year.

Past meeting topics have included:

  • Preparing a company for sale, negotiating a merger, and making plans for a smooth transition
  • Legal issues related to the complexity of contracts, stock option plans, and patent infringement
  • Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance and Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance for software companies
  • Other topics include: Sales hiring and execution issues; Management of complex software development projects off-shore; Best practices in communications; Compensations strategies;
