The Council’s Entrepreneurial Series provides growing companies with an inside track to starting a business. The Cluster holds regular meetings bringing together companies, entrepreneurs, investors and experts involved in the formation of technology companies. It is directed by a steering committee consisting of investors, advisors and experienced entrepreneurs with deep expertise in all aspects of raising capital.

Meetings address issues such as:

How to prepare a company for investment: fundamentals such creating the business model, forming the management team, setting strategy; how to do presentations to investors; preparing business plans and executive summaries

Navigating the investment process: Connecting with potential investors; negotiation of terms; deal points and their long and short-term effects.

Capital formation at all stages of a company’s life, from start-up through liquidity event.

Updates on the current investment climate; trends and capital sources.
